About Me
Hockey was my game until a knee injury led me to take up golf in 1987. I was involved for 30 years as a player, coach and official for Waratah Hockey Club. I was honoured to receive Life membership of the Waratah Hockey Club and the Waratah Sports Club. I was a NT representative player, coach and official from 1969 to 1991.
For over 22 years I have been an active member of the RAAF Darwin Golf Club and have served as Junior Co-Ordinator from 1995 and currently still hold that position. I have been the RAAF Darwin Golf Club representative on the NT Golf Junior Development Committee since 2008.
My nomination for a Board position on NT Golf was endorsed at the recent 2009 NT Golf Annual General Meeting and I was allocated the task of Development of golf for all NT players with an emphasis on the further development of Junior golf for all areas. I became the Vice President at the AGM in late 2010.

About Me
My sporting background is in football (soccer). I played at various levels from about 1991 to 2000. I was heavily involved in the administration of my club and was Secretary for three years.
In 2001 I took up golf socially and in 2003 I joined Palmerston Golf and Country Club. In 2005 I was asked to apply for the vacant position of Secretary of the NT Golf Association, and was part of the team that worked through the amalgamation of the men's and women's golfing bodies.
In 2006 a new amalgamated body for golf in the NT was formed. I have held the position of Secretary since the inception of Golf NT and was also appointed Public Officer for the association. My current handicap is 13 but I would like to be a single figure player within the next few years.
One of my key projects is working with Peter Wright (Palmerston), Brian Pepper (Alice Springs), Peter Hargreaves (Darwin) and Margie Wedmore (Darwin) to develop the NT representative program for men and women. As NT Selectors we are overseen by the Development Sub-committee.
I am an accredited State Level Referee and have successfully completed an Australian Advanced State Level Rules and Competitions
Course (with Citation).

About Me
I am a golfer from way back. Having lived in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide before settling in Darwin means I have played many, many golf courses around this great country.
Being in the optical industry as a Registered Optical Dispenser and repairing and installing refraction room equipment gave me many opportunities to take my clubs with me also.
I retired a couple of years ago intending to put my feet up and "be retired" - some hope!
Currently I sit on the Match Committee at Palmerston Golf and Country Club and have the role of handicapper as well. I look forward to my time with the Golf NT Committee.
